THE MEANING
The Purpose Of The Album
Heaven's Depression is a statement. A tribute to my childhood. And a reflection of the past as I live out in the present of quarantine.
It is a battle to retrieve my past self. A self I buried 6 feet below ground, a self I hid 2 years ago and a self I love very much.
Mistakes happen.
The Album is a journey. There's moments of Joy, Sadness, Nostalgia, Hope, and even a sudden urge of the feeling of being a Badass.
Every song and every sound has a meaning.
This album is meant to empower people. To be who they want to be and not to be who others wish for them to be. As to truly feel passionate about something you enjoy or hate is by being yourself.
"You can only move forward in life by learning from your mistakes, to learn from them you must have passion, and to have passion you must be yourself."

LOOKING BACK
Throughout my childhood music has always been a part of my life. From Orchestra with Mr. Everhart to Choir, from Choir to Rock Band, and from Rock Band to Jazz band. From Lisbon to the Hague I've learned the hustle of creativity and the bravery of standing alone on stage in front of over 100 people. However, none of these affected me as much as listening to others. The foundation was the long field trips of nothing but Daft punk, Emmanuel Jal, Stromae, Jay Z, Coldplay, Madonna, C418, Carlos Santana, Biggie, and the wide variety of music my parents would play in the car. This has affected my views on life and Music, and that is how and why this Album cannot simply fit in one Genre. It is a reflection of me, both of us cannot be placed into boxes. And that is what it was intended to be, Art.

MONDA
Where it all began
Monda is a village in the mountains located in Andalucia, Spain. My parents were married there around the olive groves on the outskirts of the village. I was later on born nearby.
Looking back, Monda has played a large part in who I am. I would spend my vacation in the village walking around doing chores such as buying bread.
It's unique and contains multiple landmarks, different cultures, and religions. On the outskirts, a small roman road can be found. Hence the main inspiration to Roman Road.
The castle you see on the mountain overlooking the village is the same castle on the album cover.
